WhyAyeYou can find a copy of this year's AYE Conference Flyer here. It's why we think people might be interested in attending AYE. Why do you attend AYE? DonGray 2008.04.08 People are genuinely glad to see me there. That doesn't happen often for me. DwaynePhillips 2208.04.08 Dwayne, I'm happy to see you anywhere (though esp. happy to see you at AYE. As for me, AYE is like the family reunion I always wanted to have, but never did. With new people being added to the family all the time.- JerryWeinberg 2008.04.14 I like AYE because it provides an antidote to WishfulMagicalThinking. - JerryWeinberg 2009.08.03 I like AYE because it challenges me to develop new material and try new simulations. I love meeting new people and re-meeting my colleagues of long-standing. I am always genuinely glad to see Dwayne, too. -- JohannaRothman 2009.08.03 I like AYE because its FUN. I have the pleasure of the company of old and new friends. I have the pleasure of facilitating excellent conversation where the learning for me is greater than anything I imagined. I have the joy of seeing a year's worth of work flower in front of my eyes. And I have the opportunity to see my friend, the walking man, DwaynePhillips. SteveSmith 2009.08.06 I love AYE because it's a passionate place full of passionate people who thoroughly enjoy what they do, sharing knowledge, information, help and information. I always learn so many new things and take them into situations I find myself in. I sometimes use a lesson or so I've learned to try to get someone to another way of looking at a situation, sometimes it's re-enforcing to teach me to listen more, learn better ways of "shaping a conversation" because of Esther and Steve, Don and Dwayne and others. I always meet the greatest people who say just the right thing at just the right time. It's amazing minds in one place for nearly one week, where else do you find that? It is SO MUCH FUN as well as learning and it is on the doorsteps of Sedona and the Grand Canyon so I always plan additional time.. who can beat that. learning, laughter, great sights, wonderful people all in one place? The question to me is Why NOT AYE? MarjieCarmen 2009.08.25
